Dainty Sichuan chinoiserie scene.

The Dainty Sichuan group of Chinese restaurants recently opened a new outpost in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Waverley.  They have again commissioned Mr Brown (see his South Yarra efforts here) to embellish their interiors with his own brand of chinoiserie.  This massive mural was created over nine separate gold Dutch leaf panels in the St Kilda studio and then installed on site.

If you feel like a sumptuous, chilli hot Sichuan banquet amongst these golden glowing panels, head on out to the wilds of Glen Waverley.
